Today is the last day of April — so-called Earth Month. Through our Amazingy's partnership with @treesforthefuture we are helping to reach farmers across degraded landscapes in sub-Saharan Africa, planting trees and creating income and food security.

Unsustainable farming practices are a leading cause of land degradation and climate change, impacting soil, ecosystems, and biodiversity. But with training from Trees for the Future, Forest Garden farmers have a plan for the planet! Farmers plant thousands of trees on their own property and diversify what they grow to improve the land and increase their income and nutrition access.

Alice, pictured above, is growing various plants, such as banana or calliandra trees or on her land with the help of the project.

Since partnering with TREES, we’ve already funded the planting of 318 800 trees!
